response to tiffany

Yes, the price of water should be raised to pay for environmental costs and water conservation. This is really only a small price to pay for fresh water that is essential to human life. This is a major problem in todays society that needs to be dealt with now before its to late. We need to think about our future generations and make a plan to conserve fresh water. We need to raise funds now and make a long term plan.

marijuana

Marijuana should be legallized. People in todays soiciety like to do things that they are not allowed to. If marijuana was legal, i believe that there would be less people doing it. I believe alcahol has worse side effects than marijuana. The long term side effects of marijuana are a decrease in IQ due to the lack of blood that flows to the front of your brain. Alcahol is legal and has worse effects leading to liver failure and drunk driving. Think how many deaths marijuana, an illegal drug,is responsible for? Then think of how many deaths alcahol, a legal drug, is respponsible for with alcahol poisoning and drunk driving crashes. Also, if the united States legallized marijuana, then they would no longer profit from their undercover drug buisness. The country makes tons of money by making marijuana illegal through charges of possesion of subatance D. Marijuana should be legallized to stop the countries drug scams and to decrease the number of smokers that just do it because its legal.

Response to Claudia

The first response is very good talking about how the wall drives her insane to the point where she sees a woman in the wall. You could have maybe added a little more detail about the wall and why is was so bad.

In the second response, I agree with what you said but i beleive your are missing the main point that the baby is better off because of the presence of wall. The baby would have to look at the painfull color and smell the odor it gives off.

Response to Texas

In the first quote, I liked the last line "as an animate object." It was a clever way to signify the lady in the wall.

In the second quote, i think you had the right idea but there was no details why the wall was so painfull.

Response to Andrew

No, if a student made a bad choice and did something wrong, he should stand up and take responsibility for his actions. A guilty student should never try to get anyone else involved, ecspecially his friends. A student should never lie, ecspecially on the behalf of another students mistake.
"Im getting really fond of the room in spite of the wallpaper. Perhaps because of the wallpaper."
- In reality, the woman cant stand the color and smell of the wall which tortures her. It seems as if the room is finally growing on the woman and she is very interestred in the design and what she sees from the wall. She trys to figure out the complex design as well as well as the woman in the wall. She is bored in her room all day and watches the sun and moon reflect off the wall as well as the shadows. She observes the wall as it fades and changes. She starts going crazy and uses the wall as entertainment where she sees the woman in the wall shaking the pattern.

"There's one comfort, the baby is well and happy, and does not have to occupy this nursery with the horrid wallpaper."
- The woman looks on the posotive side about not seeing her baby. She makes herself feel better by thinking the baby is really better off with her right now uintil she gets better. She says it is a good thing that her baby does not have to look at the ugly wall and bear the awful smell. She would rather be in the nursery room instead of the baby because she can handle the color better.
